Biography

Welcome to my portfolio! I hope it allows you a glimpse into my life and passions. My name is Alicia Cooperman, and I am deeply in love with nature, capturing beauty in all forms, and making others feel confident and embrace themselves wholeheartedly.

 

I grew up in Pennsylvania and spent my childhood outdoors, in martial arts studios, photography studios, and eventually on a field hockey field. My father is a photographer and graphic designer, and his passions have bled into mine. Following him around and learning photography through him as a child allowed me to see the world through a unique lens.

 

Artistry has always been a part of my life. I have been singing from a young age, both solo and with choirs abroad, performing in theater and dancing. I love all forms of art, and at times have difficulty choosing which path to follow. I find that photography allows me to capture life at the most rare and unique moments, solidifying the present into a lifelong memory. Music and singing allows me to express myself in a deep and rich way. Dance allows you to connect mind, body and soul in movement. Hence, why my business is Alicia Rose Creative. Not solely photography, but all forms of imagination.
